Natural stone, quarried and cut. They are not moulded concrete units made to imitate cobble, which is what most cobblestone paver products in the local market actually are. That means the color goes all the way through rather than sitting in a surface layer, and the face will not fade to gray the way pigmented concrete does. It also means natural variation in tone and texture between pieces and between batches, which is a characteristic of the material rather than a defect.

Not ours. Java Negra and Java Blanca are trade names describing the cobble style, and the name leads a lot of buyers to assume Indonesian import. Our stone is quarried and cut in the Philippines. That means no import logistics, no exchange-rate exposure in the price, and shorter lead times than imported stone. If your spec specifically calls for Indonesian stone, tell us and we will quote that separately.

Color. Java Negra is black, Java Blanca is white. Both are the same natural stone product. Java Negra is available in 4x4, 4x8, and 6x6 inch. Java Blanca is currently 4x4 inch only. Java Negra 4x4 is the cheaper of the two at ₱12 per piece against ₱28 for Java Blanca 4x4, which works out to roughly ₱960 per square meter versus ₱2,240 at a typical joint. Worth knowing before you spec a large area in white.

It depends on your joint width, which is a design decision rather than a property of the stone. At a typical 10mm joint: 4x4 is about 80 pcs/sqm, 4x8 about 42, and 6x6 about 38. Tighten to a 3mm joint and the 4x4 climbs to about 91. Open it to 20mm and it drops to about 68. That is a 25% swing, so agree the joint width with your contractor before ordering, and allow 10-15% over for cuts and wastage. Fan and arc patterns need more edge cutting and run at the top of that range.

Yes, with the right spec. Cobble needs a mortar-set installation on a reinforced base to carry repeated vehicle load. Laying it straight onto a sand bed the way you would for a garden path is the most common and most expensive mistake we see. Tell us it is a driveway when you inquire and we will confirm the correct thickness and base specification for your traffic before you order.

Two. Java Negra is black and Java Blanca is white. Black anchors modern and minimalist schemes and hides staining well. White lifts shaded courtyards and stays cooler underfoot in direct sun. The two are often used together for banding and border work. Because this is natural stone rather than pigmented concrete, tone varies between batches, so order the full quantity at once where an exact match matters.

Two methods, and the method depends on load. Paths, patios, and pool decks are dry-laid on 4 to 6 inches of compacted aggregate with a sand setting bed, joints filled with polymeric sand, and edge restraint around the perimeter so the field does not spread. Driveways and vehicle areas are mortar-set on a 6 to 8 inch reinforced base. Not strictly, but natural stone is porous and sealing helps more here than it does on concrete. A sealer resists staining, eases cleaning, and deepens the color. Java Blanca in particular benefits, since a white stone shows oil and organic staining that a black one hides. For pool surrounds, use a sealer rated for wet, chlorinated conditions. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar and lemon on natural stone.

Stock sizes and colors run a few days from order. Larger volume orders, or a color currently between batches, run up to about a week. Send your target start date and we will confirm availability against your schedule.

Yes. We can ship a sample set to your project address so you can confirm tone, texture, and the actual piece dimension before you commit to a project quantity. For natural stone this is worth doing, since tone varies between batches and a sample also lets your contractor verify the piece count against your intended joint width.

We supply stone. Installation can be coordinated through our partnered installers, or your own contractor can lay it with our guide. For larger projects we can recommend crews experienced with cobble-pattern paving, particularly fan and herringbone layouts, which are slower to set and less forgiving than running bond.
